Neon Quarters ("we", "the site") uses Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com, or generally at aboutads.info/choices.

Playing games on this site never requires an account. If you favorite a game, rate it, leave a comment, set a theme preference, or track a high score without signing in, that information is stored only in your own browser via localStorage. It is never sent to us or to any server, and clearing your browser data removes it. Comments you post are visible only in your own browser too, since there is no shared backend for them.

Signing in is optional and only needed for a synced profile across devices and a spot on the global leaderboards. If you create an account, we (via our backend provider, Supabase) store your email address, a password (hashed, never in plain text, and never visible to us), the username you choose, and whichever of your favorites, ratings, play counts, and high scores you've generated by playing, so they can follow you across devices and appear on public leaderboards where applicable. Your username and public high scores are visible to other visitors; your email address never is. We do not sell this data or use it for anything beyond running the features described here. To have your account and its data deleted, email us at the address below from the address you signed up with.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from visitors beyond what's described above and standard, anonymized analytics and ad serving data handled by our third party providers.

The game submission form opens your own email client with a pre filled message, and nothing is transmitted through this site. Whatever you choose to send is delivered directly to our inbox by your email provider, the same as writing us a normal email.
